This isn’t just a class—it’s your gateway into the world of coffee roasting, taught by the people who grow it. Whether you’re sharpening your skills or starting from scratch, this course will deepen your connection to coffee and give you the tools to create your own roast journey.

What You’ll Learn

From Seed to Cup

Our approach is rooted in connection—to the land, the process, and the craft. Led by Kingha co-founder and roaster Kingsley Griffin, this two-day course will walk you through the entire roasting journey:

Day 1 – Seed to Success

Explore how growing methods shape roast profiles, followed by a guided cupping of light, medium, and dark roasts. You’ll begin hands-on sample roasting with two distinct coffees while learning how beans change at each stage.

Day 2 – From Sample to Production

Dive into equipment, safety, and roast theory, then move into partner-based roasting on both sample and production machines. You’ll identify first crack, log roast data, and craft custom profiles with confidence.
