Our Story

In 2015

Kingsley Griffin and Maha Sarraf left behind the fast pace of life in Dubai to pursue something more grounded—a life rooted in purpose, community, and the land. Driven by a shared passion for education, agriculture, and hands-on impact, they relocated to Southwestern Uganda to build Kingha Estate from the ground up.

Over the following years, they worked side-by-side with local communities, learning the land, planting 20,000 coffee trees by hand, and building the infrastructure needed to support both a regenerative coffee farm and a community-focused enterprise.

Kingha was founded on a simple principle: giving is the most rewarding work one can do. That belief now drives everything we do—from the way we farm to the way we partner with communities.

We’ve created lasting partnerships with over 1,000 farmers, built school libraries, provided uniforms and tuition support, and reinvested into the future of local youth. Now, we roast in White Rock, BC—bringing the story full circle from seed to sip.

Kingha Coffee isn’t just grown. It’s cultivated with care, built on purpose, and rooted in community.
